Flipsyde - Someday
A local band from Oakland just released their new album this week, but after listening to it, I am convinced that the real goods are in their first single, Someday. I am just not sure that Flipsyde is one of those live bands that can make the transition to a studio band. Seeing them live makes you want to jump through the roof and pound your head against a table. Listening to their album makes me wonder if I am listening to one of the Back Street Boys fronting for one of his other projects. I don’t mean to be harsh, I am just a bit disappointed with the album I guess.

Awh. I’ve been listening to Someday, Angel, Skippin Stones and Trumpets (my favorite) non stop for days since I was able to download from iTunes. I’d like to see them live so I can jump through the roof as you say, but, hey, these recordings have me happy jumpy.

heh, I think I was in a crappy mood when I first wrote this. You should definitely go see them live, it is a whole different world. I just fired up We The People on this beautiful Sunday and will keep an open mind.

Flipsyde is Fusion baby! This shit will hit you hard and wont let you
go. It doesnt matter what type of music you Listen to hear one song and your hooked. I went to a live performance and saw die hard Snoop dogs boyz
rocking out with green day fans. Someday!!!!
