Bonnaroo Producers to Stage “Mega Event”
There have been rumors for the past few months concerning A.C. Entertainment and Superfly Presents (two production outfits that produce Bonnaroo) and a mega event on or near Halloween. It appears that this speculation was well founded as the two have confirmed they will produce a mega-event in Las Vegas, Nevada around Halloween. Vegoose is set for UNLV’s Sam Boyd Stadium on October 29th and 30th.
Some of the acts that are believed to be performing at Vegoose are Dave Matthews, the Black Crowes, and Jack Johnson. No artists have been officially confirmed by either Superfly or A.C. Entertainment, but Jonathan Mayers, Pres. of Superfly, told Billboard.com that they were very excited about the lineup they are putting together and that the lineup will be somewhat similar to Bonnaroo. So, I guess we will just have to wait and see what they have instore for us at Vegoose.
