DRM Enabled Music Downloads Expected to Explode
The number of DRM enabled music purchases is expected to explode over the next 2.5 years according to an article in Digital Media Asia today. This comes as no surprise to anyone who has seen or used an iPod or other digital media player. The technology has been around for a number of years, but has not really taken off until the iPod became the hottest thing since sliced bread. The sales figures are expected to be in the area of $5 Billion or so by 2008. That is a lot of cheese and I bet it is more than that.
